How We Make It

Each cut and engraved patch is made with care in our small shop. We begin by preparing your hat and leather patch then we carefully line up the patch placement in our desktop laser cutter and engraver. We triple check each cut and engraving before moving on to the next step for clean edges, crisp engraving, and ensuring there are no alignment, scorching, or debris issues.

Your design is engraved directly into or cut from the leather patch using an 80W desktop CO₂ laser cutter and engraver, allowing us to create a polished, professional finish with texture, dimension, and lasting detail.

Next, we use heavy-duty, thermal-activated polymer that establishes permanent bonds for patches, leatherette, acrylic, and wood to secure your patch to your hat. We check the seal with care after pressing and then pack it for you.

Because every hat is made to order, slight variations in leather color, placement, or texture may occur. Leather colors may also appear slightly different on screen than they do in person. These small variations are part of the handmade process and help make each piece uniquely yours.

Care Instructions

To keep your snapback hat looking its best, spot clean only with a damp cloth and mild soap. Gently blot the engraved/cutout design instead of scrubbing it, so the engraving/cutout stays crisp and the patch stays in good condition.

Do not machine wash, bleach, soak, iron, or dry clean. Avoid placing the hat in the dryer, as heat can damage the shape, mesh, snapback closure, and engraving.

After cleaning, reshape the hat by hand and let it air dry completely in a cool, shaded area. Store it in a clean, dry place to help preserve the structure and engraved/cutout design.
